Setting up eduroam at Grebel
Ironically, if you’re viewing this, you already have wifi. Congratulations! You can close this tab and enjoy your browsing. If you’re still interested, here’s how to connect to eduroam.
Android Phone
Its relatively complicated and differs depending on what version of Android you have. Instructions can be found here: https://uwaterloo.ca/science-computing/how-tos/networking/wireless-connections-eduroam-or-guest
Iphone
Open the Settings app, find the Wi-Fi section, click on Eduroam, sign in with WatIam username and password.
Windows Desktop
Open Wi-Fi settings through Settings app. Sign in to Eduroam with WatIam username and password
Mac Desktop
MacOS (Arm): Watiam (adfs)
Identity: None
Username: WatIAM username (i.e. your full email)
Password: WatIAM password
When prompted about trusting the certificate, click "continue"
Nintendo Switch
You will need to email IST with the MAC address of the console in order to have it whitelisted for internet access. The MAC address can be found in the console settings.
Linux
If you are using a Linux device, I believe in your technical knowledge to connect it to the internet.
